Simplicity Manufacturing Inc. Port Washington, began producing a new line of lawn tractors this week. The tractors feature the industry's tightest turning radius and Briggs and Stratton Corp.'s new Vanguard engine. Simplicity President Warner C. Fraizer and Jim Maleug, an inspector, look over the new Model 16LTH, which has been sold out through May 1990. Peter Jerger, another inspector, works in the background. The company also is producing snow throwers for fall shipment to its domestic and international sales organizations. Randy Lanser, an assembler, and other workers put together two-stage, walk behind snow throwers, which are among Simplicity's 11 models. The machines range in power from 3.5 to 10 horsepower.
