Vintage Hammered Brass Bucket Iron Handle and Copper Rivets

Description: A vintage, what looks like hand-hammered, brass bucket. The bucket has a nice rolled rim and a loop handle made out of a ferrous metal (it sticks to a magnet) with hooked ends inserted into brass eyelets situated on both sides of the bucket.  The eyelets are made of brass and are attached to the side of the bucket with copper rivets. The bucket has a slightly rounded circular base with flared sides rising to the rolled rim. The sides and base of the bucket shows marks of hammering to form it. The inside of the bucket has incised concentric circles in the bottom and incised lines running around the sides near the top and close to the bottom. This is a nice size and substantial bucket weighing almost 1 3/4 pounds. Just a beautiful piece of older brass, which would look great in your collection.
